Medical / Health professionals

We will be using NC Baptist Men’s mobile dental unit. The Dental Bus Ministry of NC Baptist Men provides a means for free dental care to be offered to local residents of North Carolina. Each of the two buses used in this ministry at Dorton have two dental exam rooms. On the mobile dental unit, dentists provide treatment to relieve patients who are in pain and are fully equipped to provide simple fillings and extractions. Beyond their physical needs, this ministry offers Christians the opportunity to provide spiritual care to people in need. Patients targeted through this ministry include people without insurance, the impoverished, Hispanic and other ethnic groups, the homeless, the elderly, etc. Local dentists and dental assistants are recruited to volunteer their services at the clinics.

Kids Zone – Volunteers to serve in a nursery for parents with young children (designed for children ages 2-5) as well as serving at several tables with crafts and information with children related to the Protestant Reformation

Music Festival – Volunteers may contact Robert Unger (robert.unger@rlcary.org) who is directing this portion of the day to learn how to be involved in the Choir, Hand Bell Mass Ring or be a part of the Performance Stage.
