Dr. David Peter will be coming to teach on the book of Revelation.

Decoding Revelation: Making Sense of the Last Book of the Bible

The Book of Revelation is a challenge to understand.  This is why there are many divergences and disagreements about its interpretation.  A major reason for this is because the book is written in symbolic language, a coded style. This presentation will provide an interpretive key to Revelation’s symbolism, resulting in greater understanding and meaning for the reader. This “decoding” will enable you to see Christ, His Church, and history (past, present, and future) in a whole new light.

Change the World: One Life at a Time
500th Celebration of the Reformation
Sunday, November 5, 2017
12 p.m.-7 p.m.
We will begin with worship of God and lead into an afternoon of learning and service to our community on Sunday, November 5, 2017.

The worship service will begin at 12:30 p.m. as we are built up together through song and the teaching of God's Word. At 2 p.m. the main stage will host an afternoon of music and teaching while an art show will display work from children throughout the region which highlights how God's grace brings value to all aspects of our lives and the roles each person plays in daily living.

Simultaneous to main stage events and art show there will be a free medical and personal care clinic held on the southside of Dorton Arena.

As Christians we mark the 500th anniversary of the Reformation that restored the true power of God's redemptive work for all people by grace through faith in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ we are excited to share a free afternoon with our community that demonstrates how the Reformation's heritage impacts our daily living.
